Labor & Birth Support

Our Labor & Birth Support package is designed to walk with you through pregnancy and all the way until your baby is born. This support includes everything described below, plus the Pregnancy Support & Education package.
Pregnancy Support - Once you book with us, we are available for any questions/concerns you may throughout your pregnancy, labor & birth, and postpartum via phone, text, and/or email.
Prenatal Visits - We will meet with you 2 times during your pregnancy. During those times we will discuss your birth plan (we can help you develop one if needed), discuss your desires for your pregnancy & birth journey, and we will go over what our role will be at your birth. We will also go over various exercises to help your body get ready for labor & delivery, as well as various relaxion and pain management/comfort methods.
Resources - You will have access to our list of referrals for midwives, doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, pelvic floor therapists, lactation consultants, and education materials, etc.
24/7 On-Call Support - Around 37 weeks, we are available to you 24/7 for on-call support. We will help you navigate the final weeks of pregnancy, the onset of labor, and when to contact your provider as labor progresses.
In-Person Labor & Birth Support - The doula on call will join you when you need the additional support and will stay with you until baby is born. With your birth plan in mind, our support will include emotional & physical support, pain management techniques, and helping you advocate. If you are going to breastfeed, we can help you with that initial feed, as well.
Pictures - We can also take pictures during your labor, birth, and those first precious moments of meeting your little one.
Postpartum Support
Our postpartum support package is designed as an additional add-on to help you transition into life with a newborn. You have the option of choosing up to 6 visits lasting about 2 hours each. We will come to your house to help with whatever you need…picking up groceries, cleaning, holding your baby while you sleep, answering any postpartum questions you may have, etc. Package options are listed below.

Our Pregnancy Support & Education package is designed to equip you with the tools and education needed for your labor and birth. We would sit down with you to talk through all things pregnancy, labor, and birth. This includes helping create a birth plan, providing resources, and having access to us throughout your pregnancy.
What is a Doula?
The word ‘doula’ comes from the ancient Greek word meaning ‘a woman who serves’. Today, ‘doula’ refers to a professional trained to provide physical, emotional, and informational support to women during their pregnancy, labor, birth, and early postpartum period.
